News/Paramelt BV acquire Industrial Waxes of H & R ESP Ltd

Paramelt B.V., Europe s leading producer of speciality waxes, have acquired the industrial wax activities of H & R ESP Limited (H&R) based in Chorley (UK) as per 17th October 2005.   The acquisition will bring significant synergy to Paramelt’s flexible packaging and adhesive markets as well as adding on a number of new niche markets. The product range is largely complementary and provides Paramelt with a strong position in the UK where the Industrial Waxes of H & R ESP Limited (former Dussek Campbell) products have a well established reputation.   Several members of the H&R customer service and sales team have transferred to Paramelt’s UK office, which has been established in Chorley to ensure a continued high service level to UK customers.   In the near future the production of these speciality waxes will be transferred to Paramelt’s plants in Heerhugowaard, the Netherlands and Eupen, Belgium.
